Power of Coaching (POC) has been designed by the creators of the Creative Teacher Programme and Outstanding Teacher Programme to enhance the leadership of teaching and learning through promoting effective coaching. Facilitated by our experienced OLEVI accredited school leaders, POC forms part of the OLEVI teaching and learning syllabus, which has gained a national reputation for raising standards in teaching and learning.

Outstanding Teacher Programme
The Outstanding Teacher Programme (OTP) is a nationally recognised and versatile programme, developed by OLEVI. It is an opportunity for teachers from all sectors and phases to move their practice from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ by engaging with a wide range of strategies and skills.

The Creative Teacher Programme (CTP) has a national reputation for improving standards in teaching and learning, developed by OLEVI and accredited by the National College for School Leadership. It provides teachers from all sectors and phases with a set of skills and strategies that enable them to be consistently good teachers.

A package of three webinars which have been designed to provide insightful CPD opportunities for your early years team. The sessions will draw on the latest research findings and explore the key steps involved in early language development. Consider the processes involved in holding a ‘conversation’, vocabulary enrichment and how we can successfully support quality talk within provision.
– Early Excellence – Preparing for Change: The Revised EYFS 2021
5 May 2021, 19 May 2021 and 9 June 2021 – 3.45 -5.15pm
A package of three webinars which have been designed to enable your early years team to prepare for the statutory introduction of the revised EYFS in September 2021. Each session will identify the key changes within the new framework. We will be considering the implications for staff expertise and examining how we can successfully meet the statutory requirements as part of a rich and unique curriculum within provision.
– Early Excellence – All About the Needs of Boys
14 June 2021 – 3.30 -5.30pm
A specialist workshop designed to inform and guide EYFS and KS1 practitioners in achieving their vision for learning. The gender gap is a much-discussed topic across the education sector. Early years practitioners often come across the same problems; with boys not appearing to fully engage in an adult-led activities or reluctant to use all experiences provided to support their learning. It is critical that we plan meaningful and challenging experiences that connect with all children’s passions and spark their imaginations.
– Early Excellence – Re-thinking KS1
6 May 2021, 26 May 2021 and 15 June 2021 – 3.45 -5.15pm
A programme of three webinars to refresh the knowledge of your KS1 team and help them to rethink their practice. Each 90 minute webinar focuses on key aspects of pedagogy with new ideas and inspiration for practice and provision. There will be recommended pre-course and gap tasks to undertake to maximise impact, and you will also receive additional resources to use back in school and to enrich your learning.

A Model of Quality Assurance for Primary Subject Leaders
This course will enable participants to share and develop models of quality assurance for subject leaders, whether this be directly as a subject leader, or a senior leader seeking to implement new approaches. It will allow participants to more acutely appreciate the effectiveness of their curriculum, by identifying its tangible impact on pupil outcomes in those subjects.

Translating Behaviour – Developing Practical De-escalation Strategies
Luke Mitchell is the head of the behaviour support service for the Wellspring Academy Trust which supports mainstream primary, secondary, special and alternative provisions. Luke is responsible for ensuring the 26 schools within the trust are supporting challenging behaviour in the most effective ways. There are three sessions to choose from, all with different areas of focus.

Primary Science Support Programme
Working scientifically should be positioned at the heart of the primary science curriculum in all schools.
