Considering a career in teaching?

Find out more about our paid teaching internships for 2024

At Diverse Academies Trust we work in partnership with Redhill Teaching Hub and Mitre to offer a comprehensive three-week internship programme across several of our secondary academies. We strongly encourage anyone who is thinking about becoming a teacher to consider the benefits of applying. As well as offering up to £1,200* as a tax free financial incentive, the internship provides a unique and valuable insight into the vocational aspects of becoming a teacher and what to expect when working in a school environment. The internship will run towards the end of June/beginning of July.

You will need

  • To be pursing a degree in a STEM related subject including chemistry, computing, maths, physics, languages or related degree.
  • To be an undergraduate at any stage of your degree.
  • To consent to a Disclosure and Baring Service reference check

What we offer

Our internship programme can offer you lesson observations in a range of subjects, pupil pursuits, the opportunity to support wider academy events and trips and informative conversations with experienced professionals focusing on key aspects of education in areas such as behaviour, safeguarding and SEND support.
