Olevi OTP – SPECIAL/SEND Cohort Autumn 2022
The Outstanding Teacher Programme (OTP) is a nationally recognised and versatile programme, developed by OLEVI and facilitated by our experienced Olevi facilitators. The Diverse Association for Professional Learning have created a bespoke cohort for Special School/SEND practitioners to create a networking opportunity, alongside the professional learning, for colleagues within and beyond Diverse Academies Trust.
Delegates will gain a deeper understanding of the latest innovative pedagogy and develop the mind, skill and knowledge set to make a significant impact on their pupils and inspire others to become outstanding practitioners within a coaching culture.
The programme comprises of 5 face to face teaching & learning sessions and 2 coaching sessions with a series of post session challenges, over nine weeks (mixing full and half days). Participants focus on a range of aspects of teaching and learning such as challenge, engagement, assessment, differentiation, questioning and planning.
Full attendance at this programme will enable you to mentor or coach colleagues to improve their practice; recognise, articulate and model best practice; and create and deliver challenging and engaging CPD
This bespoke programme is available to teachers from Special schools and/or teachers of SEND.
There is an expectation that participants will attend all of the sessions. The programme works best if two or more teachers attend from the same school. However, the programme is available to individuals if required.
