Established in 1862 as a teacher training college, BGU’s commitment to first-class teacher training has remained consistent and, as a result, the University continues to provide schools across the country with highly-skilled graduates who are equipped to teach the next generation of young learners.

BGU offers many different methods of support for trainees as they begin their teaching careers. All this, paired with a rich heritage of education stretching back over 160 years, has earned BGU many accolades and an extremely positive reputation. In fact, students give BGU top marks nationally for support, resources, accommodation, feedback, opportunities, and campus facilities.

Diverse – Lead Partner of BGU – will arrange placements for you in the schools that suit you. Teacher training both in schools and at the University allows trainees to develop an extensive understanding of every aspect of teaching.
