Are you passionate about teaching and making a difference in students’ lives? Whether you want to teach primary or secondary, the Diverse Academies Trust offers a comprehensive route into teaching, providing the support and expertise you need to become an outstanding teacher.
Our well established programme of ITE (initial teacher training) provides our trainees the opportunity to gain a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) with qualified teacher status (QTS), and masters credits in primary and special teaching, and credits in a number of secondary subjects.
Our PGCE is run in partnership with Nottingham Trent University and Lincoln Bishop University.
School experience days
Before applying, we recommend attending one of our school experience days to get a feel for the classroom environment. These days provide valuable insights into school life and allow you to observe teaching in action, helping you decide if teaching is the right career for you. You can experience both primary and secondary settings through our programme.
How to apply
Applications open onĀ 7 October 2025.
We are on hand to help guide you through the application process and to offer personalised support.
